HPLC Column Selectors : We offer four different styles of automated column selection systems. All of the systems can be ordered with our optional HD-15 interface which allows column selection directly through Agilent Technologies' ChemStation software.

Additional communication interfaces for use with various brands of HPLC equipment are now standard and include: Serial RS-232 (for use with: ChromSword, Chromeleon, ChromSmart, Agilent Open Lab, EZChrom Elite and many others) and true contact closure control for everything else.

The four basic types of HPLC column selectors are :

1) The original LC SPIDERLING™ Column Selector [PHOTO]:   Models were available for selecting five, seven or nine columns plus one By-Pass line. *This model is discontinued. Please look at the replacement module, the LC SPIDERLING Series-II.

2) The LC SPIDERLING™ Jr.: Custom integrated into an existing Agilent (HP) Model 1100 or 1200-Series Column Oven, G1316A/B. It can select up to three different 25 cm columns plus one By-Pass line.

3) The LC SPIDERLING™ Series-II Bench-top and stackable module [PHOTO]: Low cost, small footprint design allows placement of remote selection valve anywhere. Models are available for selecting three (3), five (5), seven (7) or nine (9) columns plus one By-Pass line. Std 340 Bar and optional 600 Bar versions available. You should also take a look at our column organizing shelf module, CS1100-SHELF listed under the products section of our web site. The shelf will allow you to stack the column selector within your HPLC Instrument Stack saving valuable bench space and improving your chromatography !

4) The LC SPIDERLING™ DELUXE Model [PHOTO]: Features a built-in column oven (forced air system) that can heat or cool all of the columns from 10 degrees below ambient to 60 degrees C. Perfectly fits in your Agilent / HP Model 1100 or 1200-Series Instrument stack. Models are available for selecting five (5) or nine (9) HPLC columns plus one By-Pass line. Std 340 Bar and optional 600 Bar versions are available. The finest product available on the market.
